ST Buthelezi Holdings was founded in Daveyton in 2020 by Steven Thulani Buthelezi. The company started in security and learned the construction business from inside it, guarding live building sites for contractors.
That experience gave us the reason for our second division. Construction sites need security, and finished buildings need it for good. So we build, and we protect. Each division has its own specialist team, equipment and compliance, and they work to one standard.
- Separate specialists. Registered security officers guard. Qualified builders build. Neither team does the other's job.
- Shared accountability. On combined projects, one site manager answers for both.

After handover the building stays in our care: guarding, armed response, monitoring and maintenance.
